Take Steve to School Pics
|
Jill all femmed up. One of the first pictures I colored.
|
Styling Steve.
|
Ezekial's head. My first CG'd picture that actually looked good.
|
|
I was screwing around with designs for the group when they went to college. Seeing as Todd and I sort of bear a certain resemblance (I know, not everyone notices it at first). I gave him the beard and the hat and the almighty black hoodie. He looks pretty much the same as I did freshman year.
|
Ezekial. Was working trying something different, but it ended up being pretty much the same.
|
Ezekial being all mall-goth fabulous. He doesn't have that eeyore-esque "thanks for noticing me" look to him anymore, more like pre-teen angst.

Other Originals
Half of a cover art design I did for my high school's literary magazine. She's badass. |
The other half of the cover art duo. She's cute, but the other girl is gonna go all "destroy something beautiful" on her. |
A dragon I drew back in the day. |
Revolution flower mk. 3.1. It's sort of odd looking, but interesting at the least. I have this thing for cybernetically combining plants and machinery. I'm gonna try to hook some marigolds up to a toaster someday and see how it works. |
Generation Art
Art that I've contributed to Generation Magazine.
First image I did for the magazine. It was for a literary story about a girl working at a fast food place. |
A graphic for a story about a girl who gets pulled over by the cops and gets out of it by breaking down into a sobbing mess. Damn bitch. |
Graphic I did for the header for the regular sex column Just Between Us. It's, like, the best ear and nose I've ever drawn. |
First cover I did. I was gonna be a bit more ambitious and try to draw it from a view looking down from within the tree, but I pussied out and just did a side view. It's still not that bad. |
The story I did this picture for never went in, so I figured this was probably the best place to put it. I like the guys body. It was the first time I'd tried shading with pen, and it didn't suck. The wings could have used a little work. |
This was the cover I did for the sex issue. It was only supposed to be a joke, because everyone seemed sure Dan's photo was gonna go through, but somehow my rock hard abs made it on there. This isn't technically the original copy. The original had the headline protruding from . . . ehem . . . nevermind. |
Poetry sucks because it's hard to draw for abstract concepts. It was sex week, and the poems were about sex, and I'm lazy. Therefore, people in bed. |
Alas, another masterpiece that never ran. Todd Natti wrote a story about one of his sex-capades, and I drew a cartoon of him standing over his victim. |
Cover for a story about how the University Police show up at student's houses outside of campus and breaks up parties and slaps them with suspensions. Our university policy needs some work. |
Started out as a cover design, changed it to an inside graphic, and it didn't go in. The story was about the growing popularity of Texas Hold'em |
Fan Art
Drew a picture of Link (from The Legend of Zelda) being bad-ass for a fan-art contest. Navi looks like an angel fish on crack. |
A little doodle of Link that I colored over. I thought it was cute. |
I got bored, so I tried drawing Saria (from The Legend of Zelda) in a way that made her look more like a forest sprite and less like a walmart-clothed communist child. Her fairy is also a frigged-up angel fish. |
I inked and colored the picture of Saria. Turned out nice. She has no knees, and her nose sort flattened into her face, but the f-ed up fairy is gone, and MX flash made my inked outlines beautiful. Thank you, MX Flash. |
There was a guest strip contest for 8-bit theatre a while back, and I didn't see it until like half a day before the deadline, so I scraped this strip together and sent it in at the very very last minute. It didn't make it on the site. It could have been better. |
Desktops
The first most-of-the-group shot ever. |
I just really like this picture. |
Wallpaper I did for Generation's Halloween issue. I doubt anyone wanted to bother typing the link and getting Generation backgrounds. It's appropriate for one month a year. Use it while it's in season. |
